1918 Revolution and the Freikorps

This room begins with the abdication of the Kaiser and the concurrent revolution sprad by the power vacuum and the widespread anger over the loss of the war. Communist/ Socialist factions try with varying success to sieze power. Where they are successful, a counter-revolution quickly forms to battle them, composed of 'Freedom Fighters' of Freikorps, people's local militia, and the remannts of the Imperial army.
